In an effort to simultaneously address the growing labor shortage within the health care industry and create job opportunities for individuals with develpmental disabilities in the workforce, a project has been created to train individuals for a support position within the health care industry. Following successful completion of the program, participants will receive a customized certificate of mastery that details his ro her specific competencies. Riverfront job developers will collaborate with local health facilities and students during the internship process to secure employment for program graduates.
