Update: “Read More” to see Amanda cut the ribbon.

Long time Goodwill employee and Riverfront participant Amanda Lokken has been selected to be the ribbon cutter at the Grand Opening of Goodwill Industries’ new La Crosse store.  The ribbon cutting will be at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, March 7th at the facility at 3954 Mormon Coulee Road.

“We’re very pleased that Goodwill is honoring Amanda in this way,” said Marcia Jagodzinske, President and CEO of Riverfront, Inc. “She’s been a valuable employee of Goodwill for more than 10 years.”

Amanda Lokken became involved with Riverfront in 1999. In 2003, she began working at Goodwill’s Rose Street store, and will work at the new store when it is up and running.  A Riverfront job coach supports Amanda during her two to three-hour shifts, where she sorts donations and preps clothing for retail display.
