Nicole Valencia earned her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Viterbo University and has additional training on effective treatments for Autism Spectrum and Anxiety Disorders. Currently, she is completing her Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis. Nicole became Riverfront’s Behavior Specialist for Youth Services, after working as a Behavior Specialist in the Janesville area.
Within the Youth services, Nicole completes behavioral assessments and creates guidelines for Behavioral Services. She develops and implements staff training and provides direct support for some participants while focusing on skill development and enhancing their independence and quality of life within their identified programs.
Nicole believes that, no matter their circumstance, everyone should be given a chance at individual greatness. She is motivated by the knowledge that, with the right program and supports, she can help improve the quality of life for the participants and their caretakers.
Nicole moved from Janesville in 2016, and enjoys playing volleyball and spending quality time with friends and family. She also loves music, being outdoors, hunting, fishing, or playing disc golf.
