C.O.R.E. Program

A Community-based Prevocational Service

Career Opportunity Readiness and Enhancement

Helping people obtain and retain long-term employment in the community.

This group-based program includes career exploration activities such as touring local businesses, job shadowing, informational interviewing and volunteering activities. A majority of the participant’s time is spent actively in the community, with a portion of each day spent in a classroom setting practicing employment readiness activities.

New sessions offered

C.O.R.E. sessions are a 12 week program with classes held three days a week. Class times offered are 8am-11am or 12pm-3pm.

Most individuals participating in Riverfront’s C.O.R.E. Program receive services funding through Family Care. Private Pay option is available.
