Achieve Your Health and Wellness Goals

Individuals with disabilities have opportunities to meet health and wellness goals with Riverfront’s unique Day Service Range of Motion program. Personalized plans focus specifically on each individual’s needs and goals.

Designed for you

Your Range of Motion (ROM) exercise routine will target your individual goals, and your progress will be tracked each session. Documentation varies, depending on guidelines from your therapist. Common measurements of progress include:

  • Time
  • Duration
  • Exercise performance
  • Tolerance

With Riverfront staff expertise, a personalized program, and care team collaboration, your participation in ROM can develop strength and flexibility to meet your goals and support independence.

Specialized Range of Motion equipment helps Riverfront participants like Bill, who uses weights to meet his strength goals.

Tara, Riverfront Range of Motion program participant, relies on her power wheelchair to get around when she is out and about. Tara achieved a personal goal to use her walker instead of her wheelchair on a community outing.

Get started

Your personalized program starts with an assessment by an occupational or physical therapist. Using the results of your assessment, the therapist will develop a personalized exercise routine for your ROM program.

Your routine can incorporate Riverfront equipment, your own personal equipment, or any combination that fits your needs. You and your therapist, guardian, and care management team collaborate to determine how your individualized routine will be implemented. Sessions vary in length depending on your goals.

Your therapist will train key Riverfront staff, who ensure effective delivery of the ROM program. You will receive one-to-one support to meet your health and wellness goals. No matter the type of activity or level of ability, Riverfront supports individuals reaching for their goals.
